Impact Network & PEAS Partnership

1. Will Impact Network’s programs continue to operate?
Yes! Impact Network’s primary education programs will continue to operate as they have. We are also expanding our programs, including the Read Smart literacy initiative, which will grow from 8 schools to 40 schools in 2025, thanks to new grants we’ve secured. In 2025, we will reach over 30,000 primary students across 88 schools. Our staff in Zambia remains in place and continues their important work.

2. What impact will the partnership with PEAS have on the work Impact Network does?
Our partnership with PEAS will help us expand our impact without changing the core of our work. PEAS focuses on secondary education (grades 8-12), while we specialize in primary education. The partnership enables us to create a K-12 pipeline, ensuring our students can continue their education in a supportive, high-quality secondary school system.

3. Where will my donation go?
Your donation will continue to support the impactful work we’re doing in Zambia, where our initiatives remain fully operational and are expanding. Additionally, your support can now help provide students with access to quality education from primary through secondary school, reaching children in Uganda and Ghana. As we scale our initiatives, your contributions are more vital than ever. We encourage you to donate and support the continued success of our work.

4. Who is PEAS?
PEAS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing access to affordable, high-quality secondary education in rural Africa. Like Impact Network, they focus on underserved communities and are committed to empowering students—particularly girls—with the skills and confidence to thrive.

5. How will the partnership with PEAS affect Impact Network’s work in Zambia?
The new partnership with PEAS will complement our work by ensuring that students who graduate from our primary schools have access to quality secondary education. The goal is to provide a seamless transition from primary to secondary school for as many students as possible, improving overall educational outcomes in the region.

6. What are the key benefits of this partnership?

  • Expanded Reach: We will reach more students across Zambia, Uganda, and Ghana.

  • Improved Continuity: The partnership creates a K-12 pipeline, ensuring students continue their education from primary school through secondary school.

  • Increased Scale: Thanks to new grants, we will be able to expand our programs and reach double the number of primary school students in 2025.

  • Stronger Focus on Girls: The partnership helps ensure that girls, who often face additional barriers to education, are supported through both primary and secondary school.

7. How can I continue to support Impact Network’s work?
We deeply appreciate your continued support! You can make a donation on this website and stay informed about our work. Your contributions help us reach more children and create lasting change in their lives.

8. Will the staff in Zambia be affected by the partnership?
Our staff in Zambia will remain in their current roles, ensuring that we continue to provide the high-quality education students depend on. The Zambia team will report to PEAS exceptional Country Director, Beatrice Likando. The partnership with PEAS will bring additional resources and opportunities but will not affect our team’s dedication and commitment to the students we serve.

9. How will the partnership affect the long-term goals of Impact Network?
This partnership strengthens Impact Network’s ability to fulfill our mission of delivering high-quality education to rural communities in Sub-Saharan Africa. By ensuring students can access education from early childhood through to secondary school, we are creating a long-term impact that will help lift entire communities out of poverty and empower the next generation of leaders.
